Ross & Smith islands are the most popular islands in Andaman but basically in actual Ross and Smith Islands are two islands and this two islands are joined together with a sand bar which make this a group of Islands.
You will have to obtain a permission from the forest office at Diglipur. Permission costs is of Rs 50/- for Indian nationals and 500/- rupees for foreign nationals.
Permission should be obtain from monday to saturday between 6 AM to 2 PM. You can go through Dunghi or a Speed boat which will take a time of around 25 Minutes to reach Ross and Smith Islands from the aerial bay jetty, Diglipur.
